Science, history, life skills and creativity — every class is hands-on, age-appropriate, and built for Tuesdays.
Class Description
While the core topic remains the same across all groups, instruction, activities, and expectations are intentionally adjusted to match each age level and stage of development. Families with multiple students can feel confident their children learn the same topics at the same time — each at their own level.

Hit the road with FLVS in our Driver Education course. Students will study the Highway Transportation System, traffic signs, rules of the road, and collision avoidance. Students will learn how to make good choices behind the wheel and begin to develop the skills necessary to become safe, responsible drivers who reduce risk to themselves and all other roadway users. Students will develop an understanding of safe driving techniques and skills in preparation to take to the roads and highways as real-world drivers. This course fulfills the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) Driver Education Traffic Safety Course (DETS) required to obtain a Learner's Driver License. As an added benefit for completing the course with FLVS, students will also be eligible to take the Learner's Driver License exam online for FREE! So, what are you waiting for? Be a part of Florida's premier classroom driving experience! ** We recommend that students signing up for this course be at least 14 years of age, as the required Class E Knowledge Exam is only good for one year from the date of successful completion.

NextGen Technology is a hands-on high school course designed to equip students with the digital skills needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. Students explore modern tools and platforms while learning practical skills such as website creation, digital communication, artificial intelligence, cloud-based applications, online collaboration, cybersecurity awareness, and professional productivity. Through real-world projects, students learn how technology is used in business, education, and everyday life while developing creativity, problem-solving, communication, and digital citizenship skills. Whether building a personal website, creating a professional email, using AI responsibly, or exploring emerging technologies, students gain the confidence and experience needed to thrive in college, future careers, and an increasingly connected world.
